I spent 28 years in Hertfordshire Constabulary, in a variety of mainly uniformed roles. My last 6 years was spent as a Custody Sergeant working all over Hertfordshire.

In 2015 I retrained as a Secondary School Science teacher, specialising in Biology, at Watford Grammar School for Girls, then completed my NQT training at Chesham Grammar School and Ashlyns School, Berkhamsted.

I then moved to a specialist service in Bucks, providing one to one or small group lessons to students not at school for medical reasons. I am now a Crisis Exercise Associate for AI Schools which use both my policing and educational backgrounds to the full.
