A multi academy trust in Hertfordshire.
Challenge:
The Head with responsibility for compliance across the trust wanted to enhance the ability of every school to respond to a critical event.
They approached AI Schools to undertake develop a trust wide critical incident procedures and provide training to each one of the senior leadership teams.
Solution:
A trust wide framework was written that provide a consistent trust wide approach to managing crisis, mandated key contingency plans that each school must have, while allowing them the flexibility to adapt these to suit individual needs.
The Critical Incident Policy and Procedure covered:

Result:
Within 6 months the roof of a school was found to be in imminent danger of collapse and the Head used the new framework for real.
