Martyn's Law Package for Schools

This one-day package is designed to make schools “Martyn’s Law compliant” by having an effective but proportionate capability.

The new Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act sets out that every school must meet the “standard tier” requirements that are needed to prepare for a possible terrorist attack.

  • Creating an effective Emergency Response and Lockdown Plan and training key support staff in their roles in these plans
     

  • Training the SLT in how to implement these plans and run a tabletop exercise for them to rehearse responding to a critical incident
